Here is a list of facts about Bobby Jones that most golf enthusiasts probably aren I am a country club boy and I think golf has lost most of its class. Truthfully we should still be playing with a tie on and in some cases a tuxedo. I am a 14 year old club champion and I want to bring class back to the sport. My question is where can I buy those close?. The worst advise I How would you like to save yourself some money? If you want to hit the golf ball into the back of beyond with pinpoint accuracy you need to keep reading. I'm gonna tell you how!. So what is the most expensive golf driver? I'll tell ya, it's the driver that costs you the most dropped shots! It's the driver that doesn't drive the ball as far as your buddy's!. Being successful at driving the golf ball isn't about buying the most expensive golf driver; it's about hitting it properly and not relying on your wallet. I spent years trying to gain some extra yardage on my shots and it cost me a fortune in new drivers. Someone at my club did me a favour in the end and told me to find out who Eric Jones is. Now you may not know, but Eric Jones is the former 2003 World Long Drive Senior Champion. He's also a very good instructor when it comes to teaching other people how to hit the ball a country mile without investing in a special driver! I followed the advice he gives to the letter and it's been the best thing for my game ever. I don't obsess out finding the best or the most expensive golf driver anymore. In fact I can pick up any of my buddy's drivers and hit them all further than they can which always annoys them and delights me!. I am a country club boy and I think golf has lost most of its class. Truthfully we should still be playing with a tie on and in some cases a tuxedo. I am a 14 year old club champion and I want to bring class back to the sport. My question is where can I buy those close?. I acquired a set of irons and they are fairways. I haven't found anything on the Internet about if fairway is a company. I am under suspicion that they could be made by Bobby jones but I don't know. In that era, the titans that are Babe Ruth in baseball, Jack Dempsey in boxing, Red Grange in football, Bill Tilden in tennis all set standards of excellence that others aspired to – and usually fell short of. Perhaps the greatest of all the great athletes from the Golden Age was a Georgia gentleman who conquered the world of golf as no other player had ever done before him – all while playing only part time, three months a year. Until 1930, Bobby Jones dominated golf, gracefully powering his way into not only the record-books but also America's heart by winning thirteen major championships with a winning percentage over .600. Jones not only set a standard for victory, but by the way he conducted himself he set the gold standard for sportsmanship, honesty and grace that may never be surpassed, and in many a golf fan's heart, never can be. Modern legend may tell the tale that Bobby Jones was fated to win his championships, that every battle on the golf course that the Atlantan fought was pre-determined in his favor resulting in an easy victory. That would be completely untrue. Jones' victories were all well-earned and many were hard-fought, and he didn't win every tournament that he entered, bobby jones golf clubs even though today that may seem to be the case. The truth is that he had many worthy competitors. Jock Hutchinson and "Long"Jim Barnes, at the end of their careers, often gave Jones fits (sometimes literally) at the beginning of his. Denny Shute and Nebraskan Johnny Goodman would challenge him later. Frances Ouimet won the 1913 US Open before Jones, and would win the US Amateur again after Jones retired, in 1931. Walter Hagen stood above all the others as Jones' most worthy competitor. While Jones was a Southerner born into a life of privilege and ease, Hagen was born in New York into a lower middle-class family in which a tradesman's life was the norm, and one never expected to rise into a high station in life because upward mobility far above such humble roots was a rare feat. Hagen did that, and he did it in style: as demure and humble as Jones' public persona was, Hagen was a colorful man who enjoyed the opportunities for wine, women and song seemingly every chance he had — and those were many. It would be a mistake, however, to overlook Hagen's effect on the game itself. He was a founding member of the PGA, and probably its best player when it was started. Hagen may have had a healthy nightlife, but he also changed golf in many ways large or small. In those days, for example, pro golfers were not allowed inside the confines of a country club's clubhouse. Hagen would have none of it, broke down that barrier and was the first touring pro to do so. Hagen was a fierce competitor and someone very tough to defeat — even when he looked out of a match or a tournament because his ball was laying at the root of a tree in a thick forest 190 yards from the hole, he'd find a way to get his ball to the green and not only that, leave himself a makeable putt that was pre-destined to find the bottom of the cup after only one tap with his putter. Opposite sides of the same competitive coin, Hagen would win 11 major championships and 52 wins professionally, while Jones won 13 majors. The two would often play exhibition matches against one another, and quite often, those matches were legendary unto themselves. Unlike to antagonistic relationship that Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson have created for themselves over the past 10-15 years, it would be fair to say that Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen were friends away from the links. The two had great respect for one another, and in fact, Hagen had given Jones some useful advice on how to handle major championship play that Jones later said was a turning point in his competitive career. They were at the least casual friends throughout their lifetimes, despite a fierce rivalry where both refused to give the other quarter on the golf course. The respect between the two, no matter their personal bond, was great. One match in 1926 was probably the lynchpin in Jones' decision to remain an amateur throughout his competitive career, which of course later led to the only Grand Slam ever recorded in golf. Had Jones turned professional, he would have been ineligible for the British and US Amateur championships, and thus no Grand Slam. Late in 1925, Hagen approached Jones with the idea of putting on what Hagen would promote as "World Championship;" a 72-hole exhibition match between the two men, which would be played at the two golfers' respective clubs in Florida, where both had real estate interests to be played shortly after the beginning of the next year. The idea of the "World Championship" was hardly new, in 1922, Hagen and Gene Sarazen had played one, and another contest in 1925 was held between Hagen and Cyril Walker, who had won the 1924 US Open, while Hagen won the 1924 (British) Open and PGA Championship. It was not much of a match, with Hagen winning 17-and-16 in that 72 hole affair. The 1926 "World Championship" might be different, according to many sages of the sporting world. Jones had won the 1924 and 1925 U.S. Amateur and nearly won the US Open that same year. Hagen was the PGA Champion, his second running, making the pair two of the best, if not the best golfers in the world. Surely, the conventional wisdom of the day held, this "World Championship" would be a neck and neck affair perhaps decided by the last stroke of the last hole. For his part Hagen figured that this particular "World Championship" match would not only draw a great deal of interest in the media and among fans everywhere, it would also draw spectators to the courses where they would be played, and of course those spectators would mean potential sales leads. Coupled with the caveat that Hagen would keep any and all financial proceeds from the match (Jones was an amateur and could not accept monetary benefits) it was a no-lose situation for The Haig — his kind of match. Indeed, fan interest was keen and loyalties largely divided amongst those rooting for "the amateur" Jones, or "the pro" Hagen. For weeks leading up to the event, the press debated the merits and flaws in each players' game. The match itself didn't live up to it's heavyweight title fight billing. Hagen handed Jones a humiliating 12-and-11 defeat, which Jones took it as a clear sign that he wouldn't be able to rely on his ability as a golfer to pay his bills, and that he would better be served by depending on his law practice for his salary. The rest of Jones' story is legend. Time would of course, prove that Bobby Jones had every bit of ability one would ever possibly need to earn a living on the links, but the die was cast for the Atlantan to remain an amateur. Jones would go on to win golf's only true Grand Slam, retire shortly afterward and start a personal project that would come to be known as Augusta National and The Masters. Lesser noticed was "The Rematch." It was not long after the "World Championship" that Bobby Jones had a chance to redeem himself when the pair competed again two weeks later in the Florida West Coast Open. This time, Jones fared better but Hagen still bested him by two strokes to win the medal play event. Of that period, Jones recollected in his autobiography that "the biggest golfing year of my life, 1926, began with the most impressive trouncing I ever got — and it was by a professional, Walter Hagen." Jones added "Walter was just too good for me." Jones then concluded that "I have plenty of distinguished company among the victims of Walter's rampages.". As a sportsman, Hagen may best be defined not by winning, but by losing. In 1950, a vote among golf writers was held to determine who was the greatest golfer of the first half of the 20th century, and there, Jones edged out Hagen. Afterward, The Haig told reporters that "I would have voted for Jones myself. He was marvelous.". History often creates legend, and over time, legend becomes myth. It is there that legend and fact often go into two separate directions, the myth a romanticized version of the truth that's somewhat incomplete in its telling. Sports heroes are stronger, faster and invincible in myth, while often the truth is that the real person had to earn each bit of glory and success that they attained. Sometimes that is better than the myth. There is no doubt about it, they have to be the best of the best from that golden age of golf. What they accomplished in there day was spectacular. Jones and his part time play, how would that fly today, Imagine the two in compettion today

It will be dedicated for occasional use, so I turn to the entry-level brands. However I had one last hesitation when I saw that the other styles had micrometric adjustment, namely Varo and Fartools (it is the same lamellar but with different colors: one is yellow and black, the other is black and yellow). I can not advise you on these lamellar low-end, but I would still doubt some accuracy, I would be surprised that the quality control tools that allow prices to reach the required accuracy '(I would very happy for you to be wrong, of course). I have a lamellar Makita I use less and less since I bought a Kreg jig, for superior strength, a very simple implementation and reduced working time, it's really the ideal solution for Assemble small furniture (such as blades) without difficulty. Memory, it seems to me that there was a bag of chips expected recovery, I think it filled too quickly. This type of template is great for small furniture, such as medium and large also. For larger furniture, I am perhaps a little paranoid, but I use it systematically with pins (I use the template Joint-Genie is now marketed by HMD). The journals provide robustness to the assembly, I avoid having to use glue and screws biased allow me to do only with the tightening of the screws, which prevents assembly systems with eccentric studs or other expensive hardware. These are templates that can be used with just a drill, a tool that any handyman has either wired or battery, and that only require accessories (screws / pins) easy to find in any GSB . Kreg screws are certainly the most convenient to use, as adapted by not screwing depending on the nature of the wood, because they are self-tapping, the head includes a washer that prevents splitting the wood end of makeup , etc. .. but I've used drywall screws to torx footprint without problems in softwood with friends. The source indicated by Footix Axminster UK, is one of the best for this type of tool Kreg. Do not hesitate to also purchase one or two clamps Right Angle Clamp that you avoid having to have lots of greenhouses attached during assembly, and screws .. ultimately, if you buy in bulk Kreg screws (500 min), that you come back the same price as GSB in France, and you have the advantage of Kreg screws. Then as to the model template to purchase, depending on the budget, but it is a sound investment that will pay if you regularly built furniture. I've even been used to repair defective joints on furniture that I had not realized myself, drawer fronts that come apart, side panels that are not very tight, etc. .. short, it's very convenient!. I have a Ferm, and the same opinion as Granphil. very satisfied, but need to connect a vacuum cleaner especially in real wood, in chipboard, MDF, it could go without suction, but it's still better with!. As I asked myself, there is not so long, I'll respond with the analysis I made at the time of the offer in VPC. – K3 Master version is still distributed in Crafts and Hobbies for 240 euros on US forum, this is one that is praised, I leave everyone free to estimate the share in this feeling of nostalgia. Here it is 237 euros, I found it expensive:. – Version Kreg R3, 41 euros in Axminster, can get an idea of the system and work, the jig is offset in height (absolutely necessary). – Master K4 version (I chose), 137 euros in Axminster. This is the most comprehensive recent version with lateral tab (basically a shim 25.4 mm thick with a stop, obviously can tinker if one has enough to calibrate a room), pliers, mini Kreg Also, a tip in addition, device to use the system on an existing mount K4 with a trim height (useful). Apart from a few useful DVD finally, we find this kind of videos on the web and a Kreg mini (not pictured below), the price of it is the same as the previous one which would have added to accessories their retail prices. I have a Ferm, and the same opinion as Granphil. very satisfied, but need to connect a vacuum cleaner especially in real wood, in chipboard, MDF, it could go without suction, but it's still better with!. Returning to the MDF, I do not use anymore for furniture, I'd say the big advantage of the lamellar is to avoid splintering when screwing parallel to the surface of the material. I know the jig kreg, I also have the equivalent of the junior model but under the brand Wolfcraft found sometimes in the GSB. Actually, it does not satisfy me fully as I have several times broke the wood .. D An announcement was made earlier this month that Nike, Inc. is due to release its second quarter of fiscal revenue during a December 20, 2011, conference call public. It is one of a handful of companies who claims to have deep ties to the skateboard, so I found the announcement of the interest. Knowing that the conference call was coming, I decided to take a look back at how the roots of skateboarding Nike have a look at the latest company financial reports. Here's what I found:. During a conference call in November 2011 the company revealed that the first quarter, revenues were $ 6.1 million billon, gross margins fell and diluted earnings per share increased 19%. He also said the company was a success in footwear and apparel sold in the development of target markets, and continue to focus on initiatives to direct business to consumer. Despite profit margins, marketing of Nike clothing skate has not always been smooth. Case in point, in June 2011 Skate Company T-shirt line made headlines when Boston Mayor Thomas Menino is the offensive line of clothing. He then launched an aggressive and very public, campaign for t-shirts removed from store windows. Nike launched its first team of skateboarding in 2001. When the team consisted of Danny Supa, Gino Iannucci and Richard Supa Cheap Mulder.UGG is 33 and still a member of the team skate to date as does 38 years Iannucci. Mulder, on the other hand, left the scene skate pro in 2006 and went on to become a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch. I guess you could say he went from success wall ride on Wall Street. To date, Nike keeps an impressive line-up of amateur and pro skaters on their team, including 2011 SOTY winner Grant Taylor. Of course, with the addition of skating team come skate videos, SB Chronicles Vol. 1 being the most recent. He was released earlier this month with a bang. Other skate videos over the years have included On Tap (2004), Nothing but the Truth (2007), Downfall (2009) and are not afraid of the sweeper. While inline skating wrist guards skateboarding has been around since the 1920s, skate shoes did not seem really on the scene until the late 1960s when they began Vans Off the wall line of shoes designed for skateboarding. Nike did not get their hands on skate shoes of the action until much later. In 2002, the Company issued its first skateboard specific shoes UGG known as the Nike Dunk Low Pro SB. Skate shoes were a revision of its 1985 basketball shoes, Nike Dunks. In 2010, Japan Haroshi based artist created a sculpture of the shoe with wheels for recycled to the delight of fans of skateboarding and art connoisseurs alike. With the turn of the calendar pages Nike would release additional skate shoes, including Zoom E-Cue (2003) and the first pro shoe company skater signature, the Zoom Paul Rodriguez (2005). Rodriguez remains on the Skate Team Nike to date and will celebrate its 27th birthday the day before New Year. In 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011 the company issued additional pairs of skate shoes with signing Rodriguez. Each was a merger of his skate shoes soon mixed with elements from other sources like the Air Jordan III. Nike Skate Team members who received their own signature skateboarding shoes over the years include Eric Koston (2011) and Omar Salazar (2011). My kids are skaters and have a history of following the sport. In addition, I have a marketing degree and worked for many years in the field.

For as long as I can remember I've been wanting to see the musical, Mama Mia. Over the last couple of weeks he's been asking all types of questions regarding my fav musicals, which ones I like to see the most??? etc. Well earlier this afternoon the phone rang, it was a lady from a theatre company asking if we still wanted the tickets, as she could only hold them until 3pm this afternoon?? I asked which tickets were they? her reply was 'Mama Mia' ..well I was bouncing around like a loony..lol, but didn't know what to do, I asked if I could get my hubby to ring her back. An hour later Stephen rang, probing with more questions. So I had to let him know about the lady that rang earlier, he was a little 'miffed' that the surprise was out, but releaved because he has been trying to book train tickets for me to meet him in London and didn't know which time to book. Anyway to cut a long story short, he has arranged for his parents to stay in our house for that weekend to look after the kids, booked a train ticket for me to travel to London AND booked us into a gorgeous hotel, The Tower, (must be nice, cos they supply complimentary elemis visible brilliance facial products in the bathrooms..lol!!) for the weekend and we get to see Mama Mia. How extatic am I????????????? woo hoooooo!!!!! This has really cheered me up after feeling quite low these past few days, will be great to spend some quality time together, can't wait. vicki what a fantastic surprise (or not now) i`m so excited for you!! what a great husband you have and what a trip for you both and have some "just us" time!!. In the early 1970's, Lindsey, a friend of mine, took part in a unique experiment. With her husband, three children, boys and ten others, was selected from several thousand applicants to live for twelve months in a reconstructed settlement of the Iron Age, so that archaeologists, anthropologists and social historians might test various theories about the models of life for nearly 2,000 years. Lindsey told me that one of the aspects. more they missed it and his companions was the color. Living in a dark hut in a clearing, he had realized its importance in daily life. I longed so much they tried, unsuccessfully, to put some color in their lives by producing dark dyes. Hostages long as Brian Keenan also described a similar desire, and his relief to be able to look at the color of the sky. Those who have never been deprived of color take it for granted and usually do not realize its importance to our health and wellbeing. However, it is a basic need. Our early ancestors realized this and the ancient healing traditions in many cultures reflect this knowledge. The use of color in healing is not new, color therapy, as it is called today, is the rediscovery of some of the principles and practices that have been known since ancient times. Primitive man saw the light rather than sustaining life and all functions and processes of living beings. Therefore, 'enlightenment' was synonymous with health in its literal sense of being complete or be holy in body, mind and spirit. For beings. In many ancient cultures worshiped the sun. The most important goal in life was, for man to fully understand the light and, consequently, to God. The old magic was to achieve this connection to 'bring light', and reflect their transfer. Light is a narrow band of visible energy in the middle of a spectrum ranging from 10s energy cosmic rays to radio waves. These energies can be classified according to wavelength and is measured in nanometers, each equal to one millionth of a millimeter. The spectrum of visible light falling in the range of 380 to 760 nm. Our eyes can feel every change in wavelength within this band of energy and is interpreted as a specific color. The cells have the largest wavelength, lower frequency and less energy, whereas the violet wavelength are shorter, the higher frequencies and energy. Beyond the red extreme of the visible spectrum wavelengths there longer infrared radiation, microwaves and radio waves; beyond the end violet wavelengths are shorter ultraviolet radiation, X rays, the gamma rays and cosmic rays. The energy of sunlight to produce all color wavelengths from the ultraviolet through the visible spectrum to infrared on a more or less the same. This is called full-spectrum white light. The effects of color in life should be of great significance to the first human beings, whose very existence was governed by light and darkness. Most living things seems to strengthen with the bright reds, oranges and yellows of daylight and calm and rejuvenate with blue, indigo and violet of the night. The ancients believed that the colors are sunlight represented a different aspect of the divine and influencing different qualities of life. Therefore, the color is a significant feature in the symbolism of ancient cultures around the world and the origins of healing with color in Western civilization can be traced to the mythology of the ancient Egyptians and Greeks. According to the mythology of ancient Egypt, the art of healing was founded by the god Thoth. The ancient Greeks knew as Hermes Trismegistus literally 'three times larger than Hermes', as is also credited various works of mysticism and magic. The banners which are conferred included the use of color in healing and in the hermetic tradition, the ancient Egyptians and Greeks used minerals, stones, crystals, salves and dyes, all colorful, as remedies and painted treatment sanctuaries different tones. Interest in the physical nature of color moved along with the concept of the elements: air, fire, water and land. These building blocks of the universe is associated with the qualities of heat, cold, wet and dry, and with the humors or bodily fluids, cholera or yellow bile, blood (red), phlegm (white) and melancholy or black bile. It was thought that occurred in four organs (spleen, heart, liver and brain), and determined the physical and emotional disposition. Health involved the proper balance of these humors and disease mix in an incorrect ratio. The color was intrinsic to healing, I had to restore the balance. Clothing, oils, plasters, ointments and poultices, color, were used to treat the disease. By the end of the classical period in Greece, these principles were included in the scientific framework that was to remain almost unchanged until the Middle Ages. In the 1st century d. C., Aurelius Cornelius Celsus followed the doctrines established by Pythagoras and Hippocrates and included the use of ointments, poultices and colored flowers in various medical treatises. However, with the advent of Christianity, pagan exorcised everything, including healing practices of Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. Successfully stopped the progress of medicine throughout Europe while he persecuted those who clung to traditional principles and practices of healing. The ancient healing arts, oral tradition preserved only by the initiated, became something hidden or 'occult'. It was an Arab physician and disciple of Aristotle, Avicenna (980 to about 1037), who developed the art of healing. In his book, Canon of Medicine, made clear the vital importance of color in the diagnosis and treatment. Avicenna realized that. observable color was a symptom of disease, which produced a color table related to temperament and physical condition of the body. Color used in the treatment, he insisted that the moving red blood, blue or white cooled and the yellow reduced pain and inflammation, prescribe potions of red flowers to cure blood disorders, and yellow flowers and morning sun to cure disorders of the biliary system. Avicenna also wrote about the potential dangers in the treatment of color, noting that a person with a nosebleed, for example, should not see bright red objects or exposure to red light, as this would encourage humor blood, while blue subside and reduce the blood flow. The Renaissance saw a revival of the art of healing in Europe. One of the most famous healers of the period was Bombastus Theophrastus von Hohenheim (1493-1541), known as Paracelsus, who attributed his understanding of the laws and practices of medicine to his conversations with witches (women who were basically expelled by pagan healers Church). Paracelsus saw the light and color as essential to good health, and used extensively in the treatment, along with elixirs, charms and talismans, herbs and minerals. A great exponent of alchemy, Paracelsus insisted that his real purpose was not to make gold but to prepare effective medicines, and used to treat liquid gold evils of all kinds, apparently with some success. Consequently, his fame as a great physician spread throughout Europe. However, after the Middle Ages, Paracelsus and other alchemists lost its reputation as a mystic and magic was superseded by rationalism and science. For the eighteenth century, the 'enlightenment' had acquired a new meaning. It was the name of a. philosophical movement that emphasized the importance of reason and critical appraisal of existing ideas. Reason dictated that all knowledge must be true and evident, was discarded everything that could cause doubt. As a result, the divine gradually disappeared from the scientific point of view of the world. For the nineteenth century, the emphasis on science focused exclusively on the material, not spiritual. As the medicine was introduced to the system of science, also focused on the material physical body, ignoring the mind and spirit. With the advent of medicine and surgery and treatments such as antiseptics, declined interest in healing with colors. He did not come until the nineteenth century, and then not in Europe but in North America. In 1876, Augustus Pleasanton published Blue Lights 501, in which reported its findings to the effects of color in plants, animals and humans. He said the quality, production and size of grapes could be increased significantly if grown in greenhouses with glass leaves and clear blue alternately. Also reported to have cured certain diseases, fertility and increased the speed of physical maturation in animals by exposing them to blue light. Pleasanton also argued that the blue light was effective in treating human disease and pain. His work achieved defenders, but the medical establishment dismissed it for not being scientific. However, in 1877, a distinguished physician, Dr. Seth Pancoast published blue and red lights, which also advocated the use of color in healing. The Principles of Light and Color by Edwin Babbitt published in 1878, the second edition, published in 1896, attracted worldwide attention. Babbit promoted a complete theory of healing with colors. slowed to red as a stimulant, especially of blood, and to a lesser degree of the nerves, yellow and orange as nerve stimulants, blue and violet as soothing to all systems and anti-inflammatory properties. Accordingly, Babbit prescribed red for paralysis, consumption, physical fatigue and chronic rheumatism, yellow as a laxative, emetic and purgative and for bronchial difficulties; blue for inflammatory conditions, sciatica, meningitis, nervous headache, irritability, and sunstroke. Babbit developed various devices, including a special cabinet called Thermolume, which used colored glass and natural light to produce a light color, and Cromodisco, a funnel-shaped device with special color filters that can be placed on various body parts . Babbitt established the correspondence between colors and minerals, used as supplements for treatment with colored light, and developed elixirs by irradiating water with sunlight filtered through colored lenses. He claimed that this water 'potentized' retained the energy of the vital elements of the particular color filter used, and had a remarkable healing power. Many therapists of color still do and now use solar dyes of this type. Then came the cromópatas throughout the United States and England, and developed extensive color requirements for every disease conceivable. By the late nineteenth century, the red light was used to prevent scarring in cases of smallpox, and then surprising cures reported among tuberculosis patients exposed to sunlight and ultraviolet rays. However, the medical profession remained skeptical of any claim of healing with color. He conducted research on the therapeutic uses of color in Europe in the early twentieth century, mainly Rudolph Steiner, who associated the color with shape, form and sound. He suggested that the vibrational quality of certain colors is amplified by certain figures and certain combinations of color and shape are destructive or regenerative effects on living organisms. In the schools inspired by Steiner's work, classrooms are painted and textured to match the state of 'mind' of children at different stages of development. Theo Gimbel continued the work of Rudolph Steiner, who established l1ygeia Studies and the College of Color Therapy in England. Among the principles explored by Gimbel are the claims of Max Lüscher, a former Professor of Psycho. ogy at the University of Basle, who claimed that color preferences demonstrate states of mind and glandular imbalances, and can be used as a basis for physical and psychological diagnosis. Luscher's theory, which represents the base of the Lüscher Color Test, is based on the idea that the meaning of color for man comes from early in his life when his conduct was governed by the night and day. Lüscher believed that the colors associated with these two entornas (yellow and blue. Dark) were related to differences in metabolic rate and glandular secretions appropriate for the energy required for nighttime sleep and daytime hunting. He also believed that the autonomic responses (involuntary) are associated with other colors. The Russian scientist S. V. Krakov provided support for the theories of Lüscher, stating that red stimulates the sympathetic part of autonomic nervous system, while blue stimulates the parasympathetic part. Their findings were confirmed in 1958 by Robert Gerard of the United States. Gerard found that red was annoying for subjects anxious or tense, while the blue had a calming effect. The red produced feelings of arousal and blue of calm and wellbeing. The discovery that the blood pressure increases and decreases in red light under the blue Gerard led to the suggestion that the psychophysiological activation increases with the wavelength of blue to red. Although cautious about their findings and stressing the need for further research, Gerard highlighted the potential therapeutic benefits of blue and recommended as adjunctive therapy for the treatment of various diseases. Among other suggestions, Gerard pointed out the possible uses of blue as calming and relaxing for people anxious and as a way to lower blood pressure in the treatment of hypertension. Dr. Harry Wohlfarth also showed that certain colors have measurable and predictable effects on the autonomic nervous system of people. In numerous studies, found that blood pressure, pulse and respiratory rate increase more under yellow light, moderately under orange and red low minimum, while the lowest decrease the black, moderately under blue and green under the minimum. Further research on plants and animals that carried out the photobiologist Dr. John Ott also showed the effects of color on the growth and development. We found that plants grown under red glass grew four times faster than those grown in normal sunlight and growing much more slowly under green glass. However, while the red light stimulated in excess elk early as p, then growth stopped, whereas blue light produced slower growth at first but after higher plants and thick. Rodents kept under blue plastic grew normally, but if kept under plastic red or pink, appetite and growth rate increase. IF it is kept under blue light animals have thicker fur. During the 1950s, studies suggested that neonatal jaundice, a potentially fatal disease that was in two-thirds of premature babies could be treated with exposure to sunlight. This was confirmed in the 1960 and white light replaced the high-risk blood transfusions in the treatment of this disease. Later it was discovered that blue light was more effective and less dangerous than full spectrum light, and is now the most common form of treatment for neonatal jaundice. The broad-spectrum white light is also being used now to treat cancer, seasonal affective disorder (called winter depression), anorexia and bulimia nervosa, insomnia, jet lag, alcohol and drug dependence, shift change in the work and to reduce overall levels of drugs. It was found that the blue light which is successful in the treatment of neonatal jaundice is also effective for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. In studies of McDonald, most people exposed to blue light for varying periods up to fifteen minutes experienced a significant decrease in pain. It was concluded that the reduction of pain was directly related to blue light and the exposure time to it. Blue light was also used to treat damaged tissue and to prevent formation of scar tissue in the treatment of cancer and malignant tumors and in conditions of skin and lungs. In 1990, scientists reported at the annual conference of the American Association for the Advancement of Science on the successful use of blue light in the treatment of a wide variety of psychological problems, including addictions, eating disorders, impotence and depression. At the other end of the color spectrum, has shown that red light is effective for the treatment of migraine and cancer. As a result, the color is starting to be widely accepted as a therapeutic tool with various medical applications. A new technique has been developed in the United States in the past two decades as a result of pioneering research is photodynamic therapy. Is based on the discovery that certain chemicals photosensitive, injected intravenously, not only accumulate in cancer cells but selectively identify these cells under ultraviolet light. These chemicals can destroy sensitive exclusively eh cancer cells when activated by red light, whose wavelength allows larger tissues to penetrate deeper than other colors. This therapy has been used both for diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Thomas Dougherty, who developed it, reports that in a worldwide experiment more than 3,000 people with a wide variety of malignancies were treated successfully with this technique. The color is also used therapeutically in various non-medical facilities. In some cases, their effects have been entirely accidental, as in a report that I sent the director of a newly built prison in which each of the four wings was painted in a different color. He and his staff found that the conduct of the prisoners varied significantly depending on which wing they lived, although assignment to each had been randomized. Those in red and yellow wings were more prone to violence than those of blue and green wings. Experimental research supports these observations. It has been found to do red light increases the strength of the subject by 13.5 percent and 5.8 percent produces more electrical activity in muscles of the arm. For this reason, now is used to improve the performance of athletes. While the red light seems to help athletes who need quick, short bursts of energy, blue light helps in performance that require constant power production. In comparison, it has been discovered that the rose has a soothing effect to a few minutes of exposure. It suppresses hostile aggressive behavior and anxious, if deemed interesting traditional association with women in Western culture. Pink cells are widely used to reduce violent and aggressive behavior among prisoners, and some sources have reported a reduction in muscle strength in inmates in 2.7 seconds. It seems that when in pink surroundings, people can not be aggressive, even if they wish, as the color drains your energy. In contrast, yellow should be avoided in such contexts as it is very stimulating. Gimbel has suggested a possible link between violent street crime and sodium yellow light the streets. Research has also shown that colored glasses can be very effective in the treatment of learning disabilities, especially dyslexia. This was discovered first t1elen Irlen American psychologist, but was treated with skepticism until recent research of the British Medical Research Council confirmed Irlen's claims. In June 1993, a new optical device, called the Intuitive Colorimeter was made available to British opticians so. that can measure which tint (bright pink, yellow, green or blue) helps most people usually see text swirling, shaking or letters that appear in the wrong order. Until recently it was thought that the role of light was related mainly with the view. However, it is now well established that it is necessary to see the color actually to have defined psychological and physiological effects. Even the blind subjects can distinguish, color blind and blindfolded. This phenomenon, called vision without sight, vision or biointroscopia dermoóptica has been investigated since the 1920s, when it was established that hypnotized and blindfolded subjects could recognize colors and shapes with the front and not hypnotized blindfolded subjects could describe precision colors and shapes that were presented under glass. Research in Russia during the 1960s was stimulated by Roza Kulesheva studies, which could be bandaged to distinguish color and form with the fingertips and could also read that way. Other experiments found. Kulesheva was not exceptional, one of six experimental subjects could recognize color with fingertips after only 20 to 30 minutes of training and blind people developed this sensitivity even faster. Some subjects could distinguish color correctly keeping your fingers from 20 to 80 cm on colored cards described different sensations from needle sticks to light breezes, depending on color. Even when controlling for differences in heat, structure I dyed materials and other variables, people were still able to distinguish colors accurately, regardless of whether they put under glass, tracing paper, aluminum foil, sheets of bronze or copper. This phenomenon remains a mystery. Understanding these effects only occurred as a result of research into the hormones melatonin and serotonin, substances produced by the pineal gland in the brain. It is known that melatonin is the crucial chemical pathway by which animals respond to light and synchronize their bodily functioning with diurnal, lunar, and seasonal. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter important for brain, whose action has been linked to mental disorders like schizophrenia and hallucinatory states. Serotonin is produced during the day and is stimulating, while production of melatonin, which is associated with sleep, increases when it is dark and has a general depressant. This is reversed when there is light and reduces the production of melatonin. Its main site of action appears to be the hypothalamus, the portion of the brain involved in mediating the effects of various hormones and regulates emotions. However, changes in melatonin production in response to light influencing all body cells, particularly reproductive processes, which are very sensitive to these variations. We found very high levels of melatonin in women with ovulation problems and anorexia nervosa, one of whose characteristics is amenorrhea, or absence of periods, in men with low sperm count and people who suffer from SAD park!, Which usually occurs during the winter. Depression in general seems to be closely related to the level of melatonin and people with this disease show rapid improvement in response to natural sunlight or light therapy using broad-spectrum lamps. Research has also confirmed that certain parts of brain are only sensitive to light but actually respond differently to different wavelengths, at present it is believed that the different wavelengths (colors) of radiation interact so differently with the endocrine system to stimulate or reduce hormone production. Thus, one might think that the current healing color is based on the findings of Western science in recent decades. However, science is based on a fully oldest and esoteric, the principles and practices have yet to recognize, as well as check, Western scientists. Healing with color is rooted in ancient mysticism, whose basic principles are common to many cultures around the world. In mystical traditions, all objects (living or not) are considered as having other, invisible bodies to normal. Surrounding the physical body and act as mediums for interaction of subtle energies in the immediate environment. St. Paul expressed a similar view, stating that 'there is a natural body and a physical body' (Corinthians 15:44). Natural body halo called it the first Christians and showed him as a light-colored nebula surrounding the whole body, but in later art of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance was confined to the head region. Mentioned in various ways as Ka in ancient Egypt, ancient Greece Aura, doppelganger in Medieval Europe, the vital body in certain schools Rosicrucians, body double, astral or etheric in other Western occult traditions, the French perispirit in spiritualism and ellinga sharirah in the East, this phenomenon was considered synonymous with the spirit or soul, and as surviving death. It was thought that together, these individual energy bodies formed the energy field of the universe. Mystics believe that the subtle energies of the environment are distributed throughout the body by several major power centers in the area of its non physical or energy body. They are described as three-dimensional pulsating vortices that appear to psychics or clairvoyants such as tunnels, or flowers of convolvulus trumpets and rhythmically rotate the midpoint out as sprockets. Under the direction of rotation, the wheels attract energy or head out of the body, giving vitality or enervándolo. Many have written about such centers in the ancient Hindu texts. The Theosophists, who first wrote about them in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, they retained the word chakra means wheel, to refer to them. The first European mystics were also familiar with these and the ancient knowledge of chakras in the West suggested in the symbolism of ancient Egyptian monuments and Freemasonry. Similar ideas are found in the traditional wisdom of the Indians of North and Central America, the Eskimos and the Tibetans. However, in these different traditions vary the number and location of the chakras. Hindus located seven major chakras on the vertical axis of the energy body, which correspond to the spine in the physical body, and many minor chakras in other parts of its surface. According to ancient wisdom, the energy in the form of light is attracted to the immaterial part of the body, which acts like a prism, breaking it down into seven streams that correspond to the frequency bands of the color spectrum. Each resonance is attracted to a chakra whose vibrations are in the same frequency. These vibrations become increasingly dense, heavy and less frequency along the vertical axis of the body. At its core, merge and emerge from the energies of the earth, represented in Hindu thought as a coiled serpent (Kundalini) and Chinese thought by a dragon. The upward spiral movement of these energies around the central axis of the spine is also represented by the caduceus, the traditional symbol of the healing arts in ancient Greece, still retained as the emblem of modern Western medicine. It is believed that the chakras, which can be considered as transmitters or transformers of energy, vibrating at a characteristic frequency while distributing energy throughout the body. The energy patterns around each chakra, but always changing, for the most part are of a certain color whose vibrations correspond to fundamental frequency. The most frequent color of a chakra indicates how well their energy is transformed and transmitted at a given time and therefore reflects the actual experience. A. S. The.

When players are in position, the first forward movement of the head of the server's racket is the beginning of the serve. a / The players shall serve from, and receive in, their respective rights take pictures when the server has not won a point or gained an even number of points in the game. b / The players shall serve from, and receive in, their respective left pull boxes when the server has won an odd number of points in the game. c / If ordered points in the game, use the total number of points earned by the rule served to implement a and b. d / The steering wheel is alternatively beaten by the server and receiver until you make an error or a wheel cease to be in play. e / If the receiver makes a foul or the shuttle ceases to be in play because it touches the surface of the track within the track of the receiver, the server scores a point. Then the server serves again from another box kick. f / If the server makes a fault or the shuttle ceases to be in play because it touches the surface of the track within the track of the server, the server loses the right to continue to serve, and the receiver becomes the server. No player gets one point. Only the receiver can receive the service: if the wheel touches, or is beaten by the couple in the hall, the serving side scores a point. a / After receiving the serve, the wheel is beaten by a player on the server side, then by any player in the side of the hall and so on until the wheel no longer in play. c / If the receiver side makes a mistake, or the shuttle ceases to be in play because it touches the surface of the court inside the receiving end, the serving side scores a point and the server comes back out. d / If the serving side makes a mistake, or the shuttle ceases to be in play because it touches the surface of the track inside the serving side, the server loses the right to continue to serve, and neither side wins the point. e / The player who draws the start of any game should take, or receive, kick box right when that player's side has not won a point, or has gained an even number of points in that game, if won an odd number of points out of the box left kick. f / The player who receives at the start of any game should get in or out of the box, remove the side of right when that player has not won, or gained an even number of points in that game, if you won a odd number of points out of the box left kick. h / If ordered points in the game, use the total number of points earned on the one hand to apply the rule e and g. for.

KEA teremos Xeito Deste pouco anubrados ou despexados nas primeiras hours, with intervals of clouds high in middle and increas [ The welding system with coated electrode is characterized by the creation and maintenance of an electric arc between the electrode and the workpiece. The coated electrode is constituted by a metal rod called core, cylindrical, covered with a coating of nonmetallic substances, whose chemical composition can be varied depending on the characteristics as required in use. The coating may be basic, Rutile and pulp. To perform a welding arc is induced by a difference in potential between the electrode and the workpiece, thereby ionizing the air between them and becomes conductive, so that closes the circuit. The heat of the arc melts the base material partially melts and the filler, which is deposited and creates the weld. Before beginning any welding arc to do a complete inspection of solder and the area where you will use. All objects that can burn should be removed from the work area and must have an appropriate fire extinguisher or CO2 PQS at hand. The switches of the necessary machines for welding should be able to switch quickly and easily. The power is switched off if not being welded, and will be grounded. The welding operation shall be conducted in a well ventilated but draft-free air that interferes with the stability of the arc. The roof of the place where welding has to be high or have a proper ventilation system. The ships or large shops may have undetected currents to be blocked. Radiation from an electric arc is extremely harmful to the retina and may cause cataracts, partial loss of vision or even blindness. The eyes and face of the welder must be protected with an approved welding helmet fitted with a proper grade of filter viewer. Proper clothing for working with arc welding should be loose and comfortable, heat resistant and fire. Must be in good condition without holes or patches and clean fats and oils. Shirts must have long sleeves and long pants must be accompanied with insulating shoes or boots that cover. Avoid electrical shock, which can be fatal. For this, the equipment should be suitably insulated (cables, clamps, electrode holders should be covered with insulation), and dry and free of grease and oil. The welding cables should be kept away from power lines, and the welder off the ground, either by a rubber mat, dry wood or any other electrical insulator. The electrodes should never be changed with bare hands or wet gloves or wet.
